Attorney Profiles

RUSSELL S. READ

QUALIFICATIONS:  In more than 30 years of practice, I have created and advised hundreds of business entities, including, partnerships, LLCs, non-profits, and corporations, and engaged in hundreds of real estate matters (purchases, sales, title insurance, common interest developments, easements, land use, eminent domain, etc.)  I have developed a wealth of expertise in business law, UCC and other security transactions, foreclosures and lemon law actions.  I have appeared before many state and local municipal agencies, such as the California Coastal Commission, county supervisors and local planning agencies.  I am an experience probate attorney and skilled at drafting wills and trusts.  I am an experienced negotiator and civil litigator.

Perhaps because I was a counselor for many years, my listening skills are above-average.  I am able to create and maintain a rapport with most clients and colleagues.  I believe that I am respected by local judges before whom I have appeared.
